Symptoms
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When pricing a Loan contract that has stub days or periods at the start with a zero amount, streams are not being generated as expected for the zero amount days / period payments.
For example, the Interest Payment for the first zero payment is 971.84 but the Principal Payment is -971.89. These differences result in an amount being billed or credited to the customer.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect these values to net to zero to match the payment amount.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Author a Loan contract that has the following:
a. Asset Unit Cost: 135923.69
b. Payments:
43 Stub Days @ 0.00
24 Periods @ 3831.07
23 Periods @ 2554.05
1 Period @ 2554.03
2. Validate and price the contract.
3. Check the Principal and Interest Payment Stream amounts for the first payment.
