Symptoms
After application of:
Patch: 27615350:R12.PER.C UNABLE TO UPDATE EMPLOYEE CONTACT FORM
the following error occurs when updating the Contact flexfield information (Additional Personal Details) of existing child contacts.
ERROR
-----------------------
Error APP-PER-500035. There are Previous or Future Changes exists (sic) for this record. Please update person details using either Enter and Maintain form or through Change Address using Self Service.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. XX HRMS Manager
2. People > Enter and Maintain
3. Query in an employee > Contact > Additional Personal Details flexfield details > Update existing contact flexfield details
4. Error upon save
WORKAROUND
---------------------------
Update person details using either Enter and Maintain form or through Change Address using Self Service.
