Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Work Order Definition

We have a scheduled program "Close Discrete Jobs (SRS)" to Close the Completed WIP Jobs  as per the date passed in the parameter "To Job Completion Date" .

Example:
------------

Parameters used for the "Close Discrete Jobs (SRS)"  program are as below.
To Job Completion Date=10-Feb-2020
Status=Complete
Exclude Reserved Jobs = 'No',
Exclude Un-Completed Jobs = 'No',
Exclude Jobs with Pending Trans = 'Yes',
Report Type ='SUMMARY' =
Actual Closed Date =12-Feb-2020 16:00:00 (Usually Sysdate)

Expected behavior:
-----------------------------
Correct behavior is system should pick all the completed jobs till the date passed to the parameter "To Job Completion Date" " and Close all of them.

Actual behavior:
------------------------
Currently system is not considering the date passed to the above parameter and it is Closing all the completed job as of current SYSDATE.(considering the "Actual Closed Date" value )
The Completed Jobs for which  if the ‘Completion date” falls after the TIME STAMP of “Actual Close Date “parameter are also picked and jobs status is moving to failed Close status.

STEPS
--------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to WIP(R).
2.Discrete Job>Clsoe Discrete Job with below parameters.
    To Job Completion Date=10-Feb-2020
     Status=Complete
     Exclude Reserved Jobs = 'No',
     Exclude Un-Completed Jobs = 'No',
     Exclude Jobs with Pending Trans = 'Yes',
     Report Type ='SUMMARY' =
     Actual Closed Date =12-Feb-2020 16:00:00 (Usually Sysdate).
