GLXRTDLY Form: Attempt to Enter Daily Rates by Range Errors: APP-FND-01206: This record already exists (Doc ID 2643504.1)

Symptoms

Entering daily rates by ranges through the form errors. The process works fine if the rates are entered day by day in the main form.

Search in the system, the rates do not exist for any of the dates in the range but duplication error is still raised.

APP-FND-01206: This record already exists. You entered a duplicate value or sequence of values that must be unique for every record.



STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. GL responsibility >Setup >Currencies > Rates > Daily
2. Attempt to enter daily rates for specific conversion type - note this works fine
3. Click on 'Enter by Date Range' button - the same attempt fails here
