IB Record Not Being Updated fully by Sales Order Shipment

IB transaction history shows sales order shipment for SO # 15959854 but the instance still reflects original order # 15949181 and the current location shows as if it is sitting in inventory due to RMA # 90229739. Consequently order and location details from SO # 15959854 are not reflected in instance.
