Bug 30859600: Duplicate Tasks In WCB After Assigning 2 Trips With Stops (Doc ID 2651791.1)

Last updated on JULY 08, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Warehouse Management - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : 12.1.1 version, Performance

When viewing tasks for a specific sales order line, where in the related delivery has been assigned to 2 separate trips with trip stops, there appear to be 2 duplicate tasks. In reality there are not duplicate task from a table standpoint, but only in the rendering of the Warehouse Control board, erroneously displays 2 tasks, instead of just one.

When a task is created, as a result of the pick wave allocaton, then afterward, the related delivery is assigned to 2 trips, the Warehouse Control Board should only display a single task.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a sales order with a line item.
2. Run Pick Release with Auto Allocate set to Yes.
3. See a single task in the Warehouse Control Board.
4. Create 2 trips.
5. Assign the associated Delivery to the 2 trips, adding Stops.
6. Check Warehouse Control Board again. 2 tasks are now displayed, but in reality, there is only 1 task at the table level.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot perform shipping, as the system will not allow it.
