When using Supplier Lifecycle Management (SLM) for prospective supplier registrations there are defined user defined (pl/sql) functions to perform certain activities using the user defined attributes (UDA) similar to <Note 1553625.1>.

While the user defined function is working fine, how to save the data on the page in the UDAs?

For example there are 3 UDAs (say UDA1, UDA2 and UDA3) and a user defined plsql function/action to calculate the sum of UDA1 and UDA2 and populate it in UDA3.

When clicking on the user defined action/button, it calculates UDA3 (as UDA1 + UDA2) and shows the result in the UDA3 textfield. However the result is only temporary and not saved in the underlying tables.

Currently the workaround is to click on the page, go back to the main page and then click on save button but that involves extra navigation steps.

How can the results be saved in the UDA3 in the underlying table?
