GLXJEENT: Why are Some of the General Ledger Journals not Visible in the Journal Entry form? (Doc ID 2653916.1)

Symptoms

One of the  users is no longer able to view GL journal postings starting with a specific date. He is able to view the journals until that date, but those posted afterwards are no longer visible for the user.
The issue is noticed only for one of the users. Also, using the same responsibility another user is able to view all journals.
