On : 12.2.4 version, Support Codes

When attempting to interface WIP component issue transaction to IB
the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
The Quantity should be equal to one for Serialized Instances. Please check the quantity entered. (QUANTITY=2)


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Create a BOM as following

  BOM1 (serialized control at receipt)
  |_COM1 (serialized control at sales order issue) Quantity = 2
  |_COM2 (non-serialized control) Quantity = 1

2. Create a discrete job with quantity = 7

3. Issue quantity = 12 COM1 to the job

4. Complete job with quantity = 5
   at this point you will see:

  BOM1 (SN1, SN2, SN3, SN4, SH5) in IB inv location.
  each instance has a COM1 quantity = 2 , creation_completion_flag = 'N'
  There is a COM1 quantity = 2 left IN_WIP location

5. Create a sales order with BOM1 and ship quantity = 2 out to customer
    at this point you will see:

  BOM1 (SN1, SN2) is changed to cust location with a COM1 quantity = 2 under

6. Create a WIP component return quantity = 3
  at this point you will see:

  Quantity of IN_WIP instance for COM1 is changed to 0
  Quantity of instance of COM1 under BOM1(SN1) is changed to quantity = 1 and  creation_completion_flag = 'Y'

7. Create a WIP component issue transaction quantity = 5

  The transaction errors with
  'The Quantity should be equal to one for Serialized Instances. Please check the quantity entered. (QUANTITY=2)'
  when tried to update the instance of COM1 under BOM1(SN1)
