INTERNAL REQUISITION CREATED WITH DEFAULT SUBINVENTORY EVEN AFTER MANUALLY CHANGING IT TO A DIFFERENT VALUE (Doc ID 2661128.1)

Last updated on APRIL 20, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle iProcurement - Version 12.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.2.4 version, iProcurement Requisitions.

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

In iProcurement, when attempting to create an internal requisition, search for an item and the results show a
default source sub inventory for the item.  Users manually select a different  subinventory and save, the Internal
Requisition however is being  created with the default subinventory which has more available stock.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expect that the changed source subinventory is used to create the Internal Requisition.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Search for an item in iProcurement for creating an Internal Requisition.
2. Change the Source Subinventory to a value different than the default.
3. Checkout and see that the Requisition is created with the default subinventory
and not with the one changed.
