It appears that standard functionality of WebADI in R12 is that after upload attempt, any records that PASS validation will REMAIN flagged if other records FAIL validation.
The desired behavior is that after upload attempt, records that PASS validation are UN-FLAGED, while records that FAIL remain flagged.
The customer is seeing that their (Web ADI) Flagged records successfully uploaded remain flagged if some records fail validation.
When uploading records with Web ADI spreadsheet, if some of the records fail validation while others pass, the upload flags remain on all records.
The expectation is that records should be un-flagged if they pass validation.
Business may want to upload thousands of records and if there is a failure, they only want the records that failed to remain flagged so that they don't have to manually un-flag the successful records for the next upload attempt. Not unflagging the successful records before the second upload attempt will create duplicate records in Oracle if the first upload was unsuccessful.
