SFTP Test Connection Fails For Private Key Auyhentication (Could not establish connection. oracle.xdo.delivery.ssh2.SshException: Exception in authenticating) (Doc ID 2670071.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.2 version, Enterprise : Scheduler

Connection to sftp server fails with "Could not establish connection. oracle.xdo.delivery.ssh2.SshException: Exception in authenticating"


ERROR

"Could not establish connection. oracle.xdo.delivery.ssh2.SshException: Exception in authenticating"



STEPS
-----------------------
1) Create a set of private key with the password/passphrase A123456..
2) New ftp server configuration "sftp" is created with the username and password.
This is for workaround of bug 29261185. "sftp" is saved successfully.
3) Open "sftp" and configure it for othe username that does not have password. Password field is empty but Private Key Password field is set to A123456.
4) It fails with the error "Could not establish connection. oracle.xdo.delivery.ssh2.SshException: Exception in authenticating"
