Symptoms

On : 12.2 version, Enterprise : Scheduler

Connection to sftp server fails with "Could not establish connection. oracle.xdo.delivery.ssh2.SshException: Exception in authenticating"


ERROR

"Could not establish connection. oracle.xdo.delivery.ssh2.SshException: Exception in authenticating"



STEPS
-----------------------
1) Navigate to BI Publisher => Administration => FTP => Add Server
2) Enable 'Use Secure FTP' option
3) Choose 'Private Key' as 'Authentication Type' .
4) Give valid values for 'Private Key File' and 'Private Key Password' .
5) Test Connection fails with Authentication Error.
