Symptoms

On : 12.2.9 version, INTF

Problem:

Attachment works fine in forms.
However, when attaching a file in self-service, it fails.

 

Steps to Reproduce:

Select Asset Management responsibility - Work Orders - Put in Work Order.
Update Work Order
Click the pencil
Select Additional Details
Select Work Details
Create Work Detail
Select Request Attachments
Select Add Attachments
Choose Attachment Type: URL
Add Title: Test
Add Description: test url
Choose Category: Work Request Attachments
Choose URL: https:

Add https example:
https://<hostname>/?<SID>/?selectDql= ops_doc where r_object_id in (select ops_doc_id from ops_extracted_tag where ops_tag_name like ‘000-XXX-01̸ ;) and ops_doc_is_last_validated = true

Categories for selection:
Asset Attachment
Maintenance Job Attachment
Miscellaneous
Routing Attachment
Work Request Attachment

Note: FND_LOBS table has been purged so there doesn’t appear to be a spacing concern.


Error

The configuration may be inconsistent.
