Create Production Item Page Crashes On Clicking Back Button (Doc ID 2672571.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to Create Item the out of memory error occurs.

Issue happens in above screen after clicking BACK button and entering further information and  then followed by CONTINUE button. The system gets hanged.

JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError, msg=GC overhead limit exceeded


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Log into EGO responsibility and use below navigation
Item Catalog > Create Production items
Select item catalog information and template
Click Continue
Enter item information like item number, description
Issue happens in above screen after clicking BACK button and
Then followed by Continue button. The system gets hanged and displays error message after some time
