Goal

Business Need:

User is implementing tax book where in we have of scenario of tax book currency different from that of corporate book. We need to migrate the legacy assets in to tax book ,however it's observed that we do not have the exchange rate column in the FA tax interface provided by Oracle.

How to handle this scenario in tax book conversion in Oracle Assets.

Is there any other table where in we have to populate exchange rates.

Could you please point towards any documentation or support notes on conversion of tax book assets in case where the corporate book and tax book have different currencies.

We need to know how to handle cases where the exchange rate available in the system is different from the exchange rate used by the business for legacy assets. How to handle such scenarios as in this case , System will take exchange rate available in the system and this will cause variation between legacy assets and Oracle FA assets converted.

Please clarify.
