R12 iStore Deep Link Does Not Login The User

Symptoms
Trying to use deep link to login an iStore user to a specific site that does not allow guests. The user does not get logged in and gets directed to a public site (allows guests) as opposed to the site specified.
Changes
The go=login (autologin) with username and password parameters can no longer be used for deep linking in Release 12. This was working in Release 11i.
