Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
No error when saving timecard in Timekeeper Form without Hours Type

With the application of RUP13 (R12.HR_PF.C.Delta.13), it appears that the timekeeper time entry form no longer puts a timecard into error status when an hours type is not entered, yet hours are entered.

At this point - upon saving the timecard - the hours get cleared from the timecard and the timecard is locked. No error status. No message of any sort.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
This is not the functionality that was experienced prior to RUP 13. Prior to RUP 13, the timecard would go into an error status, and the timecard could be edited to correct.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Responsibility : OTL Super Timekeeper > Timekeeper Entry form - to create a new timecard
2. On the new timecard for a worker, enter hours, but do not enter any Hours Types.
3. Save the timecard.
4. The hours get cleared from the timecard and the timecard is locked. No error status. No message of any sort.
