GLSTFL: General Ledger Accounting Setup Program

Symptoms

When running General Ledger Accounting Setup Program (upgrade glrflseg.sql) or usual application's triggered concurrent, the following error occurs.

Most commonly the issue may be encountered during the upgrade process.



ERROR
SHRD0203: Oracle error detected in GL_FLATTEN_SEG_VAL_HIERARCHIE.Flatten_Seg_Val_Hier() - ORA-12899: value too large for column "GL"."GL_SEG_VAL_HIERARCHIES"."CHILD_FLEX_VALUE" (actual: 70, maximum: 60)
FLAT0002: Fatal error encountered in routine GL_FLATTEN_SETUP_DATA.Main()

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. GL responsibility > perform actions that trigger this concurrent program (eg. update balancing segments assignments)
2. Observe the system triggers General Ledger Accounting Setup Program and this errors out

Changes

 System triggered the program after setup changes.
