Why MTL_SERIAL_NUMBERS_TEMP And MTL_SERIAL_NUMBERS tables Not Populated By Receiving Transaction Processor while Receiving PO through ROI ? (Doc ID 2690635.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 03, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Inventory Management - Version 12.2.6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

While implementing Oracle Asset Tracking. when any OAT serialized item is received, the same needs to be interfaced to OAT/CSI.

Received serials need to interface to OAT and executing "Interface Install base Lines" program for that.

There is cse_po_receipt_into_project.get_rcv_transaction_details which gets invoked and this checks serial number should be present in both

MTL_SERIAL_NUMBERS_TEMP And MTL_SERIAL_NUMBERS tables. This check is failing.

Receiving PO through Receiving Open Interface :

Custom program for populating

RCV_HEADERS_INTERFACE, RCV_TRANSACTIONS_INTERFACE and MTL_SERIAL_NUMBERS_INTERFACE for receiving a serial controlled item and then

submitting Receiving Transaction Processor program.(DESTINATION_TYPE_CODE is EXPENSE)

The program completes successfully.

Receipt is created but MTL_SERIAL_NUMBERS and MTL_SERIAL_NUMBERS_TEMP tables are not populated for the serial.

"Interface Install base Lines" is erroring while interfacing PO Receipt transaction to IB as serial number is missing in MTL_SERIAL_NUMBERS and MTL_SERIAL_NUMBERS_TEMP tables.

When receiving against a PO linked with projects through form, receipt is getting generated and Interface Install base Lines program is transferring the records into CSI.
