Goal
This year the Government presented changes to the Civil Service pension scheme, the 2020/2021 Employer Pension Notice (EPN) had two conditional changes:
- with effect from 1st April - changes to the band thresholds
- with effect from 1st September - backdated pay should no longer be included in the formula used to determine the pension contribution tier an employee falls.
