Symptoms
On : 12.1.3 version, OID SSO Technologies
After 19C DB upgrade unable to register OID
When attempting to register OID
the following error occurs.
ERROR
-----------------------
*** ERROR : Listener refused the connection with the following error:
ORA-12505, TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor
The Connection descriptor used by the client was:
dbor-ebs-dev1:1521:ebsdev
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. DB was upgraded to 19C
2. Attempt to re-register OID
3. Error occurs
BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot register OID with EBS and 19C DB
