Unable To Create Data Set (Doc ID 2697568.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.1.1.9.x version

When attempting to create SQL query based data set following error occurs.


ERROR
-----------------------

java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-01031: insufficient privileges


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to BI Publisher.
2. Create > Data Model.
3. Select SQL Query from data sources.
4. Insert the name, data source, SQL query. Click OK to create the data set.

Above mentioned error appears.
