Symptoms

The workflow mailer is stopped with error.   

The log files show the following error:

Exception occurred while getting the content type ->oracle.apps.fnd.wf.common.HTTPClientException: Unable to invoke method HTTPClient.HTTPConnection.Get caused by: java.net.SocketException: Too many open files
