Symptoms
Find that adding the same Service Item on a Sales Order multiple times is creating multiple Service Lines on the Service Contract rather than merging them together. Expect that there will be one Service Line created for each Service Item.
Steps
1. Create a Sales Order having the same Service Item covering different products.
2. Book and ship the order.
3. Run the Service Contracts Order Processing program.
4. Note that the contract is created with multiple Service Line with the same Service Item.
