Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Oracle Applications Tax Module

For a customer who migrated from 11i to R12 when attempting to inactivate an exemption receive the following error:

ERROR

Please enter a valid Effective date that is within the effective date range of Tax
Please enter a valid Effective date that is within the effective date range of Tax Status
Please enter a valid Effective date that is within the effective date range of Tax Rate
Please enter a valid Effective date that is within the effective date range of Tax Jurisdiction


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Customers > Site level exemptions > End date

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot end date exemptions
