Self Service Absence Update Error (HR_6744_ABS_DET_ENTRY_PERIOD) Not Being Shown Correctly (Doc ID 2706530.1)

Symptoms

 

Problem Statement:

The below error raised when updating an Absence Record. 

java.sql.SQLException: ORA-20001: HR_6744_ABS_DET_ENTRY_PERIOD: N,
PERIOD_FROM, 01-SEP-2020, N, PERIOD_TO, 30-SEP-2020

 

 

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Employee Self Service

  2. Absence Management
     
  3.  Update an absence which is currently dated 20-Aug-2020 to 20-Aug-2020
    change this to reflect 20-Jul-2020 to 20-Aug-2020
