Symptoms

 

After applying Patch 24977382 , after running xla reversal script xla_datafixes_pub.reverse_journal_entries , xla reversal process is failing with below error:

status -UENGLISH is not an oracle installed language, please change the language to one of the oracle installed language..status -U ExceptionORA-0000: normal, successful completion/1/ENGLISH is not

an oracle installed language, please change the language to one of the oracle installed language

 

Changes

 In UndoAccounting procedure l_Return_Status is replaced with x_Return_Status at each places. Validate the closing status of GL period from gl_period_statuses table ,

if it is Open only then event date will get updated in xla_events table.
