11i.FND.G: Monitor Users Form Shows Users Who Have Already Logged Out (Doc ID 270814.1)

Symptoms

After installing patchset 11i.FND.G or 11.5.9, the Monitor Users form FNDSCMON is showing inaccurate information.

Users who have already logged out of applications display in the Monitor users form.

This issue can occur if the users are logging out cleanly or when they close the browser window.


Steps to demonstrate the problem:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Login to the Personal Home Page as SYSADMIN.
Select System Administrator responsibility.
Navigate to Form Security > Users > Monitor.
Query a user_id, e.g. JSMITH.
You will see x lines.
Exit the Form and logout of the Personal Home Page.

Login to the Personal Home Page as JSMITH.
Navigate System Administrator responsibility
Navigate to Form Security > Users > Monitor.
Exit the Form and logout of the Personal Home Page.

Login to the Personal Home Page as SYSADMIN.
Select System Administrator responsibility.
Navigate to Form Security > Users > Monitor.
Query user_id JSMITH.
You will see x+1 lines.
Exit the Form and logout of the Personal Home Page.

The monitor users screen shows a session for the user JSMITH even though the user logged out.

Changes

Installed 11i.FND.G or upgraded to Oracle Applications 11.5.9.
