Goal
This article is written to provide expectations of concurrent manager failover and failback in an RAC ( Real Application Cluster) environment via Parallel Concurrent Processing or PCP for short.
Failover is the process in which the concurrent managers are migrating from primary node to secondary node because of a database, node or listener failure.
Failback is when the primary node becomes available again and the concurrent managers need to migrate back to original primary node.
This document will also describe what is happening when concurrent manager's are monitoring the system for failures.
