BI Publisher Bursting Report Fails (Doc ID 2711211.1)

Symptoms

You have a BI Publisher report with report bursting.

It keeps failing with no specific error codes. When same report data model is used for different set of parameters it runs successfully.

The Oracle BI Publisher Scheduled Job Log shows this error:

DEL_CHANNEL:BURSTING
oracle.xdo.XDOException: java.lang.NegativeArraySizeException
at oracle.xdo.dataengine.diagnostic.Xplan.execute(Xplan.java:268)
at oracle.xdo.dataengine.diagnostic.Xplan.processSQLDataSource(Xplan.java:229)
....
Caused by: java.lang.NegativeArraySizeException
...
