When Using "FND_GLOBAL.employee_id()" In Custom Query Of Security Profile, No Person Data is Retrieved Based on Profile Definition (Doc ID 2713632.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
----------------------------

Observed that, when trying to retrieve any Person record using a responsibility which is mapped to Custom Security profile, No data gets retrieved.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
--------------------------------

Expect that, when trying to retrieve any Person record using a responsibility which is mapped to Custom Security profile, corresponding data should be getting retrieved.

STEPS
----------

1. Navigate to HRMS Manager --> Security --> Profile

2. Create a custom profile with Custom Security using the option "Restrict the people visible to this profile".

3. Observed that, in the Custom query used for restriction, the WHERE clause condition was using the function "FND_GLOBAL.employee_id()".

4. Login to "HRMS Manager" responsibility to which the security profile defined above is associated.

5. Navigate to People --> Enter and Maintain.

6. Try to query any person and observed that no person data was getting retrieved.
