Depreciation Fails with APP-OFA-47715: Error: Function Faddep Returned Failure (called From FADEPR) (Doc ID 2715038.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to run depreciation the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
APP-OFA-47039: Error: Sum of the FA_DEPRN_DETAIL rows does not add to the FA_DEPRN_SUMMARY row for the DEPRN_RESERVE account. Values: 1549.86 -3586.41

Cause: You have a database problem.

Action: Contact your system administrator.

APP-OFA-47715: Error: function faddaj returned failure (called from fadmlp)
APP-OFA-47715: Error: function fadmlp returned failure (called from faddep)
Asset ID 1234 (1234) -> Failed

Steps to replicate:

Responsibility:  Fixed Assets Manager or similar that has rights to run Depreciation.


Menu path:  Depreciation -- Run
