For Service Contract Linked To OLFM Contract Having Same Term After Turning Evergreen, Evg Billing is Not Generated
(Doc ID 2715661.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 30, 2020
Applies to:Oracle Lease and Finance Management - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
On : 12.1.3 version, Billing Modules
OLFM Contract is linked with Service Contract and is set to Evergreen Eligible as Yes
Service Contract and Lease Contract end_date are set to the same date.
Service contract is renewed and it creates a new header record with the same contract number
Lease contract status changed to Evergreen but only Rent is getting billed Service is not getting billed. When running Service Contracts Main Billing, data is being to AR from Service Contracts instead of coming to OLFM.
When removing the service contract linked to Evergreen OLFM contract and trying to associate the renewed Service Contract it is not allowed due to error "Service Contract is not valid within Lease Contract effectivity "
The expected behavior is that after renewal the renewed Service Contract can be associated to Lease Evergreen Contract and Billing will be generated for both OKS and OKL in Evergreen scenario
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Lease Super User > Create Lease Contract , evergreen eligible
2. Service Contracts Manager > Create OKS Contract with same end_date as Lease Contract
3. Renew the OKS contract and turn OKL contract to evergreen
4. Run Service Contracts Main Billing, data is being to AR from Service Contracts instead of coming to OLFM
5.Remove the service contract linked to Evergreen OLFM contract, and try to link the renewed Service Contract. It is not allowed due to error
