GMSAWEAW Validations are Different When Using GMS_AWARD_PVT.ADD_FUNDING for Funding Date Validation (Doc ID 2715957.1)

Symptoms

When trying to add installments to the Award form (GMSAWEAW) after the award end and close dates, the form will allow this without error. If an installment is added after the award end and close dates when using the public API of gms_award_pub.add_funding it will error with:

"The Funding Date entered is not within the Award Start Date and End Date. Please enter a valid date."
