The Service Contracts Copy Functionality Copies Old Data for UPG_ORIG_SYS_REF and UPG_ORIG_SYS_REF_ID (Doc ID 2716750.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 08, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Service Contracts - Version 12.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The copy functionality in Service Contract is copying the columns UPG_ORIG_SYS_REF and UPG_ORIG_SYS_REF_ID in the table OKC_K_LINES_B from the original contract. The source is no longer from the Sales Order since it's copied within Service Contracts.

Steps
1. Using a Service Contracts responsibility.
2. Select a contract that was created from a Sales Order to be copied.
3. Copy the contract.
4. Note that the values in the columns UPG_ORIG_SYS_REF and UPG_ORIG_SYS_REF_ID in the table OKC_K_LINES_B still reference the Sales Order line.
