Symptoms
After enabling the descriptive flexfield: "Additional Absence Details" through a personalization at the Responsibility level, the following error occurs on final approver of the leave request:

The changes were not applied because User-Defined Exception
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Add personalization for descriptive flexfield: "Additional Absence Details" on Leave Request page
2. User submits a leave request (Employee Self Service > Absence Management > Create Leave)
3. Enter Leave Details and submit for approval
4. Leave goes through approval process and errors on final approver.
