Post Mass Additions Errors with ORA-20001: GLMCCURB There is no daily exchange rate defined (Doc ID 2718404.1)

Symptoms


When attempting to run Post Mass Additions, the following error occurs.

Error


ORA-20001: GLMCCURB : There is no daily exchange rate defined from CURRENCY1 to CURRENCY2 on DD-MON-YYYY for rate type Corporate.
Error: function fa_mc_util_pvt.get_trx_rate returned failure
Error: function fa_addition_pub.do_all_books returned failure
Error: function fa_addition_pub.do_addition returned failure
Mass Addition ID: xxxx ==> ** Failed **
Number of successes: 0
Number of failures: 1

 

-OR-

ORA-20001: GLMCCURB : Error getting information for Ledger ## . Contact System Administrator.
Error: function fa_mc_util_pvt.get_trx_rate returned failure
Error: function fa_mc_util_pvt.get_invoice_rate returned failure
Error: function fa_invoice_pvt.inv_engine returned failure
Error: function fa_addition_pub.do_addition returned failure
Mass Addition ID: #### ==> ** Failed *




STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
From Oracle Assets

  1. Uploading lines through Webadi with asset record
       In Oracle Assets, > Mass Addition > Addition Integrator
    -OR lines may be interfaced from AP (Accounts Payable)
  2. After, In Oracle Assets, attempt to post via M:  Mass Additions>Post Mass Additions
  3. Find the concurrent request ends in Error.
