NEED COUNTER VALIDATION ON PART CHANGE FROM DISPOSITION UI (Doc ID 2719698.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 14, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Complex Maintenance, Repair, & Overhaul - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Production Planning

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Customer is requesting a similar functionality in 'Create Disposition' as bug 26184852:GETTING "INVALID REMOVAL TRANSACTION WHEN PERFORMING PARTS REMOVAL, in which the profile" AHL: Override Counter Correction Updates during Parts Change "was made available. When this profile is enabled, for a Removal / Non-sequential installation, the system returns a warning message and not an error (which was what happened before the profile exists). This validation was only introduced when the removals are made by "Perform part removal / install". However, when the user makes the "Create Disposition" this process also removes the part from the Unit and in this case an error does not appear.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect to have the similar function in 'Create Disposition' as Bug 26184852

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log in CMRO
2. Navigate to Production Planning -> Work Orders
3. Try to do Create Disposition
