Penserver Service History Issue With Absence End Date
(Doc ID 2720292.1)
Last updated on MARCH 14, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle HRMS (UK) - Version 12.1.3 to 12.1 HRMS RUP13 [Release 12.1]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
MyCSP (Civil Service Pension Provider) require the absence end date to be provided as at the time of when it is due not at the time it is entered (updated by). However, the penserver service history file is picking up the absences when it was updated by. As a results of that, it is erroring when it is loaded into MyCSP's system (therefore, not loaded) which means it will impact on the employees pension information if this information is not received.
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Enter an absence for an employee starting this period and ending the next one
2. Run quickpay for the current period
3. Run Penserver Service History extract and notice that the absence end date (RB record) is captured this period
