Last updated on OCTOBER 23, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Order Management - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Prepayment is not attached to exposure calculation.

Customer has set the limit to 0.01
Currently there are 3 open orders with values of $3,295.96, $416.16 and $5,355.11; this is a total of $9,067.23.
All three of these orders have a pre-payment on them.

The open receivables balance consists of the three prepayments for the same total of $9,067.23.
Credit exposure report, it shows an Exposure of (9,067.23) and Available of 9,067.24 (this is the exposure amount plus the 0.01 credit limit).

Because of this, any new order that is entered for less than the available amount will not go on credit hold.

The debug of Credit Exposure report shows the following:

l_usage_total_exposure = -9067.23
l_cum_total_from_ar = -9067.23
l_total_from_ar = -9067.23
l_total_from_br = 0
l_cum_payments_at_risk = 0
l_payments_at_risk = 0
l_payments_at_risk_br = 0
l_cum_total_on_order = 0

 Why the prepayment is not attached to the exposure calculation?
