Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Shipping purge performance is not acceptable.
Shipping Purge for the year finds program completion time 2 hours 12 minutes


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Records purged
  Shipping Purge Number of Records Purged
  Trips 92242
  Stops 184484
  Deliveries 92242
  Delivery Lines 166161

EXPECTATIONS:
  Record count per above will complete in one hour 9 minute


DATA ANALYSIS

1) Orphan records Query :







The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Order Management Responsibility
2. Navigate to: Shipping >. Purge SRS
    Parameters entered:
    Execution mode: Purge
    Source System: All

    Ship Date From: 01-JAN-2007
    Ship Date To: 15-JAN-2007

    Purge "In Transit" Trips: No
    Purge Empty Records: No

    Sort per criteria: Trip
    Print Detail: Detail with LPN
