Symptoms

Problem Statement:

Hrglobal fails loading perzabaltype.ldt with the error below.

Uploading from the data file /xxx/EBSapps/appl/per/12.0.0/patch/115/import/US/loc_za/perzabaltype.ldt
Altering database NLS_LANGUAGE environment to AMERICAN
Dumping from LCT/LDT files (/xxx/EBSapps/appl/pay/12.0.0/patch/115/import/pyseedbal.lct(120.6.12020000.7), /xxx/EBSapps/appl/per/12.0.0/patch/115/import/US/loc_za/perzabaltype.ldt) to staging tables
Dumping LCT file /xxx/EBSapps/appl/pay/12.0.0/patch/115/import/pyseedbal.lct(120.6.12020000.7) into FND_SEED_STAGE_CONFIG
Dumping LDT file /xxx/EBSapps/appl/per/12.0.0/patch/115/import/US/loc_za/perzabaltype.ldt into FND_SEED_STAGE_ENTITY
Dumped the batch (PAY_BALANCE_TYPES Addl Medical Aid Tax Credit ZA , PAY_BALANCE_TYPES ZA_UIF_HOURS_WORKED ZA ) into FND_SEED_STAGE_ENTITY
Uploading from staging tables
Error loading seed data for PAY_BALANCE_TYPES: BALANCE_NAME = Foreign Exempt EE Broadbased Share Plan, BUSINESS_GROUP_NAME = , LEGISLATION_CODE = ZA, ORA-20001: The attribute balance_category_id cannot be updated

Cause: The attribute balance_category_id cannot be updated with the API pay_blt_bus.chk_non_updateable_args because it has already be set.

Action: Respecify the attribute value for balance_category_id or contact your local support representative.

 

 

Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Apply patch:31300910(ZA: NEW SARS CODES INTRODUCED BY BRS V19.0 TO 19.3)
  2.  Apply hrglobal
  3.  Worker job fails loading perzabaltype.ldt
