Symptoms

In Item Definition

When attempting to define a new item, the following error occurs.

ERROR

APP-FND-01023: The following required field does not have value: XXXX.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Define Item Name, Description and UOM.
Save.

Changes

Changes made to GL Code structure - for example, adding a new segment value.
