Last updated on MAY 20, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Collections - Version 12.2.9 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On: 12.2.9, Advanced Collections Related

The IEX: Territory Assignment program should update the Default Collector to the OU specific CRM resource group based on the OU and the customer classification.
Since upgrading to 12.2.9 the IEX: Territory Assignment program is not assigning any collectors to the customers.

Issue can be reproduced through below steps:

1. Responsibility: Territory Management
Navigation: Setup > Enable Matching  Attributes Select operating unit > select usage >
select transaction type and Click Apply Enable matching attributes required.

Enable Attribute ‘Account Classification’

2. Create new territory type.

Responsibility: Territory Management
Navigation: Territory Administration > Territory Types
Select Operating Unit, select usage required, select Transaction
Click Apply
Click create button to define territory types.

3. Create new territory using above territory type.
Create a resource group (Example -"sm test group") and use the same resource group for creating the territory. Also use classification that is used in customer form (example - High Technology).

4. Check one Customer account number that has same classification.
So it should reflect new collector once IEX: Territory Assignment is run.

5. Run the STAR program

6. Run IEX: Territory Assignment

Initial collector is not changed at customer account and site level. So issue is reproduced.
