Symptoms

On 12.2.9 in Production:

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
--------------------------
Unable to successfully complete pick confirm and/or shipconfirm  sales order number. Order line is getting backordered as part of the allocation process when running pick release even though there is enough available onhand quantity.
 
ERROR
-------
Error similar to:
Pick Release process could not allocate 1 of item 17632 for order 621944 as there was insufficient quantity available Or Inventory allocations have failed, and the line has been back ordered.

Debug log shows below messages -

1. Responsibility: Order Management Super User 
2. Navigate to: Shipping > Release Sales Orders > Release Sales Orders
