Issues Launching And Finishing Configurations After Installing Java Web Start (Doc ID 2726231.1)

On : 12.2.7 version, Runtime UI

Intermittently, when trying to launch Configurator Runtime from the Sales Order line, the process just hangs. This is happening when the Java WebStart is enabled. When this profile is turned off, the issue does not occur. Generally, it is happening a couple of times a day to different users. It normally occurs in the mornings and tends to resolve on its own if the user leaves the application and comes back. Occasionally, one order will get stuck like this for the day and will need to have the cache cleared or PC completely restarted to clear.

Expect the Runtime to come up every time.

The issue cannot be reproduced at will. However, when it does happen it is with the following steps:
1. Order Management responsibility
2. From Order Organizer, query an order
3. Navigate to the Lines tab
4. On a line with a published model, click on the Configurator
5. Processing window opens and hangs.
