In Claims Screen Receiving Error Message When Flexfield Is Enabled (Doc ID 2728215.1)

Symptoms

Trade Management > Claims >

In Claims header screen receiving error message on Flexfield field.

Steps:

Enable the following descriptive flexfield and make the segment as required.
  Flexfield: Application- Marketing    Title- Claims
  Add a flexfield segment that is marked as required.
  Save and compile
  Clear the middle tier cache via Functional Administrator

Goto Trade Management > Claims > open a claim
  Goto the Flexfield , no value
  Do not populate the flexfield segment
  Click update button
