IPAC The Transaction Price Of The Receipt Is Not Taken Into Account (Doc ID 2728523.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 13, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Cost Management - Version 12.2.7 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.2.7 version, Period Close

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When recalculating the average recurring value, the transaction price of the receipt is not taken into account

inventory_item_id = xxxxx
Cost_group_id = yyyyy
pac_period_id = zzzzz

The initial cost of the period (CST_PAC_ITEM_COSTS.BEGIN_ITEM_COST) = 45 000;
Initial quantity (CST_PAC_QUANTITY_LAYERS.BEGIN_LAYER_QUANTITY) = 0,0056;
Quantity purchased (CST_PAC_ITEM_COSTS.BUY_QUANTITY) = 0,0072
Receipt transaction value (mtl_material_transactions.transaction_cost) = 206372,903225806
Receipt transaction count (mtl_material_transactions.transaction_quantity) = 0,0072

But

We see that the purchase cost (CST_PAC_ITEM_COSTS.ITEM_BUY_COST) = 45 000

That is the cost of the receipt transaction is not taken into account.
Therefore - the average recurring cost is not recalculated!

CST_PAC_ITEM_COSTS.ITEM_COST = 45 000
