Autoconfig resets the value of the s_ecc_conf_comment parameter (Doc ID 2730103.1)

Symptoms

When performing Step 3 in Section 4.3.2.3 Integrate Oracle Enterprise Command Center Framework with Oracle E-Business Suite from Installing Oracle Enterprise Command Center Framework, Release 12.2 (Latest Version) (Doc ID 2495053.1), ecc.config file is not generated.

 

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. In EBS context file, remove  the # from parameter: <ecc_conf_comment oa_var="s_ecc_conf_comment" customized="yes">#</ecc_conf_comment>
  2. Run autoconfig so the file is generated and the changes to be saved
  3. Check in the context file and the # is not removed
