The current method of associating BETCs with Treasury Account Symbols (the "TAS") will not meet future Treasury reporting requirements.
Treasury has announced plans to expand upon the "DISB" BETC. "DISB" and its related adjustment BETC will be retired and replaced with new BETCs to distinguish between disbursements from the General Fund of the U.S. (DISGF/DISGFAJ) versus non-General Fund sources (DISNGF/DISNGFAJ.) A deployment of October 1, 2020 is anticipated.
THE ISSUE: TAS exist which contain a mixture of funds; those appropriated from the General Fund and those from other sources.
Requesting a method be provided to associate BETC coding at the fund level.
